Second International Festival of New Jewish Liturgical Music

Shalshelet’s Second International Festival took place June 11, 2006 at Ohr Kodesh Congregation, Chevy Chase, Maryland. A concert and workshops highlighted 36 new works by 30 composers living in the U.S., Israel, and Canada. The Festival was supported in part by grants from The Rita Poretsky Foundation and from the Arts and Humanities Council of Montgomery County, Maryland and the Executive’s Ball for the Benefit of the Arts and Humanities.
