No Rock Like You: Songs for the Jewish Soul
at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 13 at Sixth and I Historic Synagogue in downtown Washington.

Hear stunning new works—pop and classical to Latin and klezmer—from the Third International Festival of New Jewish Liturgical Music, held last June in Milwaukee, WI. Thrill to fresh musical settings of Jewish texts — the work of 15 people from Israel and around the United States. A select group of the composers will perform, along with gifted soloists, a full choir, drums and more.

Free workshops exploring the music and the stories behind how it is created will take place on Sunday, Dec. 14, also at Sixth and I, starting at 10 am.

Tickets for the concert are $20 ($25 at the door). For groups of 10 or more, $18 (purchase by November 15th).
