Sue Horowitz is a Jewish singer-songwriter from the coast of Maine. Her music has been included in the URJ Ruach series, the CCAR’s Hagaddah, and the new Hebrew in Harmony Curriculum. Sue has served as director of education, NFTY advisor, congregational songleader, URJ faculty, artist-in-residence, teacher, and guest artist at conferences such as URJ Biennial, Boston Limmud, CAJE, Remembering Debbie, and WCN. Her latest CD, Notes from the Garrison, was released in June, 2016. In the secular world, she is as a speech-language pathologist and special educator. Her CD Hope and Healing has raised $10,000 for Ronald McDonald House and ACS Hope Lodge in honor of her son Jacob who is recovering from cancer. Learn more about this project at www.suehorowitz.com.
